DiDA Diary
Week one (2nd June 2009): First I went on to the edexel Spreadsheet and read through the titles and made them into sub headings on my initial plan, then I Typed out the sub tasks. I used a spreadsheet because it can be set to automatically add up the times, it also keeps the plan neatly organised.
Week 3: (16th June 2009) I finished my initial plan and have done all the dates and saved another one under the name of ongoing plan. This took 4 lessons and went over two weeks. On my initial plan I am more or less up to date.
Week 4: I opened up a sources table in a spread sheet as it is easier to use.
Week 5: This week I created a student profile and chose the age range of the foreign children which will come over. I also chose where they will be coming from, and what they will be doing when they come over.
Week 6: Today I started my DiDA diary and because I hadn’t been keeping track of what I was doing I had to go back and find what I’ve done so far. I also created a website on FrontPage to present my eportfolio; I created separate pages and added links and made tables.
Week 7: I created my emblem by getting the flags and emblems of England and France and put them together. I then made sure my DiDA diary was up to date.
Week 8: I created a destination database and added 5 new destinations to it.
Week 9:I created some queries to easily find a certain type of destination on the destination database. I the made a report of the queries I created.
